Where did you come up with the name? My darling children! But crazy is a good thing right?
What are five words that describe your work? Eclectic, unique, ethical, vintage, whimsical.
What was your favourite toy as a child? And now? My childhood pooch, Hamish, a faithful Springer Spaniel who would endure any number of imaginary adventures! My favourite toy now? My adulthood pooch Rosa- although she probably views me as her toy!
What is making you happy right now? Creating a new home with the kids and hubbie on the outskirts of Christchurch after losing our beloved bungalow to the quakes.
What did you dream about last night? uuummmm
What is something that can always make you feel better? Being outside, beach combing- fossicking for perfect little bits of nature to hoard, playing the flute and piano is always a goodie
Do you do anything crazy to inspire creativity? I hoard, hoard, hoard! NEVER throw anything away that might come in useful! Then I draw and scribble notes on tiny bits of paper that end up everywhere....once I'm sorted on a design in mind my highly organised alter-ego takes over!
Were you popular in High School? I didn't run with the posy, probably more dork than diva
What is your favourite quote? "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living." - Dr. Seuss
What do you hope to be remembered for? Someone who was there for people, a person who can listen, help, hug and select a decent bottle of red.
